Lost foam casting is a modern form of investment casting that eliminates certain steps in the process. The dimension tolerance of lost foam casting we could reach is CT8-9.The main material of lost foam casting is gray iron, dutile iron, high Cr cast iron, resistance cast iron. The weight of lost foam casting controlled is about 0.2-100 kg. |

1.Mould Designing Strictly making 3D model based on customer’s drawing dimensions, and mastered the contractibility rate for all types of material. Mould dimension will be zoomed with same proportion as per different material. |
2.Carving Polystyrene
The formed foam or polystyrene is then carved using traditional carving tools or the new-age hot-wire cutting tools. It can also be sanded easily. |

3. Foam Moulding
Injecting Polystyrene in a mold to form foam pattern . And then a cluster is formed by aging and gluing together the shaped foam sections. |
4. Pattern Assembly
Age and glue the foam patterns by the gate to runners which are attached to a pouring cup. Hence, patterns, runners & pouring cup comprise the cluster or tree. |
5.Dipping & Coating
the foam cluster is coated with ceramic investment, also known as the refractory coating, via dipping, brushing, spraying or flow coating. This coating creates a barrier between the smooth foam surface and the coarse sand surface. |
6. Moulds Baking This process is to put the foam cluster into the roast furnace and make them harder. Heating the foam mould before casting is also to ensure the better products surface texture. |

7. Smelting the Liquid Steel Allocate the chemical composition and sampling before steel casting. |
8. Spectrograph Testing
Inspection on materials by spectrometer testing. |

9.Casting The liquid metal is then poured into the mould, causing the foam to progressively burn up as the metal moves to completely replace the form pattern. |
10. Cut Off The parts are cut away from the central sprue using a high speed friction saw. |

11.Heat Treating
Carbon steel and low-alloy steel need normalizing and temper, oil-quenching, water-quenching and so on. We can set out different heat treatment method as per different requirement from customers. |
12.Shot Blasting Treatment This process can make the products surface color to be the same and remove the polishing trace. In use of different dimensional steel ball could have different vision on the product surface. |

13. Polishing
Polishing is to modify the out of flatness on casting head after casting cuttig and to modify the burring and splashing in the process of casting cycle. |
14. Machining
Cut the piece of raw material into a desired final shape and size. Now we have CNC, Lathe, milling machine, drilling machine, boring lathe and grinding machine.

15.Quality Inspection
Quality inspection on the machining dimension. Mainly tools we use is like specialized gauge and callipers, mircocalliper,three-dimensional and so on. |
16. Storage and Delivery
Efficiency of package goods delivery on time per your shipping requests. |
